JOB PURPOSE

• Deliver BIM coordination for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health) building services that prioritises model accuracy, clash resolution and data quality, ensuring digital deliverables support design and construction workflows.

• Be responsible for the coordination and delivery of MEP BIM models across a diverse portfolio of built environment projects throughout the Middle East.

• Support project delivery from design development through construction documentation whilst ensuring model quality, clash-free coordination and compliance with project BIM standards.

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architectural Technology or related field.

• Membership of a professional institution (CIBSE, ASHRAE, IET, IEEE or equivalent) preferred.

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in MEP BIM Coordination within a building services environment.

• Strong knowledge of MEP building services systems and their BIM representation.

• Proficiency in BIM software such as:

- Revit (MEP specialism)

- Navisworks Manage

- BIM 360 / ACC

• Proficiency in clash detection and model coordination workflows.

• Understanding of ISO 19650 and BIM Level 2 / LOD standards.

• Familiarity with UAE / GCC codes and regulations related to MEP system design.

• Significant experience and advanced competencies.

• Able to work independently on complex tasks.

• Undertake BIM coordination for MEP building services across all project stages.

• Develop and coordinate:

• Mechanical model elements

• Electrical model elements

• Public health and fire model elements

• Perform clash detection and resolution between MEP and other disciplines.

• Maintain and update MEP models in accordance with design changes.

• Generate technical drawings and extraction from models.

• Support equipment selection and system coordination through model analysis.

• Ensure models comply with project BIM execution plans and standards.

• Deliver MEP BIM packages in accordance with agreed project programmes.

• Participate in design development and model coordination meetings.

• Coordinate project deliverables with multidisciplinary design teams.

• Attend client meetings, workshops and technical reviews.

• Support tender and construction documentation preparation.

• Contribute to successful delivery of multiple concurrent projects through effective model management.
